One hundred and twenty-five years! We have certainly come a long way from the beginning of pharmacy education at Purdue University. Through one and a quarter centuries of pharmacy education in West Lafayette, the foundation upon which the excellence of our program is built was established. Honoring this history is itself a humbling experience, for it reminds us that our personal impact on the program is such a small part of the overall history of Purdue Pharmacy. Today, we experience what was only a dream for those who walked before us.
We are very excited to enter into a year of celebration of 125 years of Purdue Pharmacy. As you will find on the pages of this website, we have many activities designed to celebrate the rich tradition of our School. We have also collected some important pieces of our history and placed them on this site. Whether you are a member of the Purdue Pharmacy Family or an interested visitor, we trust you will find this collection provides a fascinating window into our rich history.
