The School of Pharmacy at Purdue is headquartered in the Robert Heine Pharmacy Building (abbreviated RHPH on campus maps), a facility that encompasses about 73,000 assignable square feet of space. In addition, some faculty and staff of the Department of Pharmacy Practice occupy offices consisting of about 1500 square feet on the third floor of the adjacent Purdue University Student Hospital as well as offices and laboratories comprising about 15,000 square feet on the 7th floor of Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis.

Faculty and staff of the Medicinal Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology Department occupy not only space in RHPH, but also 15,700 square feet of space in the Cancer Center, which is located in Hansen Hall of Life Sciences (HANS) on the south side of campus. The Industrial and Physical Pharmacy faculty and staff, in addition to their space in RHPH, occupy about 2000 square feet of space in the Creative Arts Annex 3 (CA3) adjacent to RHPH, as well as 600 square feet of laboratory space in the Civil Engineering Building (CIVL), across the street from RHPH.

RHPH contains a full working pharmacy that serves the campus community. The School operates a video production studio, the Hook TV Studio, from a facility in the neighboring Johnson Hall of Nursing (JNSN).

A campus map is available in Adobe Acrobat format to show you all of our on-campus locations.

Laboratories in RHPH supporting NIH-sponsored research are currently undergoing a $6 million renovation with funds provided jointly by Purdue and by two National Institutes of Health/National Center for Research Resources Construction (C06) Grants.

The School, under the auspices of a $5 million gift by alumnus Allen Chao and his wife Lee, will shortly begin construction of a $7 million, 24,000 gross square feet, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) manufacturing facility in the Purdue Research Park. This facility promises to offer School faculty and students the opportunity to learn GMP practices in a working facility that will produce pharmaceuticals on contract.

The School facilities include a vast array of research equipment, some operated jointly as parts of campus-wide facilities. Important parts of the School's infrastructure include web services, instrument, internet and computer services, and graphic design services, and Pharmacy Stores.
