School Mission Statement
The missions of the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences are to:
- Advance and foster innovation in the practice of pharmacy.
- Provide professional programs including general, scientific, and patient-centered education that prepare doctor of pharmacy and bachelor of science graduates to deliver effective and efficient pharmaceutical care.
- Provide a bachelor of science in pharmaceutical sciences program which enables the student to have a fundamental understanding of the disciplines upon which pharmacy is based.
- Provide graduate programs that enable qualified students to acquire more extensive knowledge in the pharmaceutical and related sciences and skills in scientific research in order to function as educators and scientists in higher education, government service, the pharmaceutical industry, and the health care industry.
- Develop and conduct specific research and service programs to discover new knowledge, meet the strategic research objectives, and address the health care needs of society in general, the State of Indiana, and the practice needs of pharmacists and other health professionals.

- Develop a sense of ethical responsibility, professionalism, and a commitment to life-long learning among graduates.
