As a Clinical Manager in Clinical Account Services for CVS/Caremark, Keith Gillette currently helps manage health plan accounts with Commercial and Medicare – D business.   Located in Scottsdale, Arizona, Mr.Gillette has been with CVS/Caremark since 1995.

Mr. Gillette began his career in Clinical Operations RxReview and Prior Authorization for PCS Health Systems, Inc..  He then moved on to serve as a Quality Assurance Manager and Product Developer for Mail Service Operations, helping to open the first mail service pharmacy for PCS Health Systems in 1996 in Fort Worth, Texas.  Mr. Gillette transitioned in 1998 to the role of Operations Manager, which afforded him the opportunity to manage many of the products he had helped develop for Mail Service Operations across 2 geographical sites with over 200 employees for nine years.  Programs managed were:  Therapeutic Interchange Programs, Diabetic Meter Exchange Program, Generic Optimization Programs, and FastStart®.

Prior to his experience in the PBM industry, Mr. Gillette worked as a research pharmacist in manufacturing for Abbott Laboratories and as a retail pharmacist for Walgreen’s.

Mr. Gillette earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Purdue University. He also holds a master’s degree in education as well as a bachelor’s degree in social studies education.
