Engagement Opportunities
|
There are many opportunities for our alumni and friends to become involved with the College of Pharmacy. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Angela R. Davis, Manager of Stewardship, at (765) 494-1370 or via e-mail at davis174@purdue.edu. Student OrganizationsMany mentoring opportunities exist for interested alumni. Getting involved with a pharmacy student organization is a great way to share your experience and knowledge with bright, promising pharmacy students and to carry on the legacy of Purdue's excellence in education. A list of pharmacy student organizations is available here, and contact information for each of them can be obtained from the Office of Student Services. Dean's Advisory CouncilsThe College of Pharmacy has several councils which advise the dean on issues relevant to their expertise. The following links provide further information on each council, bios of council members, and meeting minutes to help you decide where your volunteer commitment is best suited. Pharmacy Women for PurdueIn August, 2008, the Pharmacy Women for Purdue (PWFP) program was established as extension of the University's Women for Purdue initiative to provide an opportunity for Pharmacy alumnae to support programs that advance women in pharmacy careers and celebrate the contributions that alumnae of the College have made, inside and outside of Purdue. For more information, see the Pharmacy Women for Purdue page. |
