Volunteer Opportunities: Minority Advocacy Council

Minority Advocacy Council:   Main | Current Members | Minutes

Graduates of the pharmacy program and University alumni are selected to serve as members of the council providing assistance and counsel to the College of Pharmacy on issues and concerns affecting African American, Hispanic, Asian, and Native American students enrolled in Pre-Pharmacy and Pharmacy programs.

Responsibilities of members include the following:

  • Attend scheduled meetings held on campus
  • Serve as mentors and role models
  • Participate in student-sponsored activities and events
  • Provide advice with regard to the Minority Advocacy Plan
