Honors and Awards: Lifetime Achievement Awards

The Lifetime Achievement Award is the pinnacle award bestowed upon alumni of the College of Pharmacy who have distinguished themselves through a lifetime of exemplary service in the field of pharmacy and service to Purdue. Lifetime Achievement Award winners will usually have already received the Distinguished Alumni Award and/or an Honorary Doctorate from the School of Pharmacy. The Dean of the College of Pharmacy solicits nominations for the award from faculty, staff and alumni each spring. The Dean, in consultation with the Executive Committee, selects the award winner(s). The Lifetime Achievement Award winners are honored during Distinguished Alumni award weekend. The winner must be present to receive the award. 2006 Lifetime Achievement AwardThe faculty of the College of Pharmacy selected one alumnus to receive the 2006 Lifetime Achievement Award. He was honored at an awards event on Friday, Nov. 10 in the Purdue Memorial Union. Photos of the event are available online.
