Distinguished Alumni Day - November 10, 2006

The Purdue School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences honored six distinguished alumni and friends at an awards event Friday, Nov. 10 in the Purdue Memorial Union. Stanley H. Beck, John F. Derr, Gerald P. Migliaccio and Thomas F. Zioncheck received 2006 Distinguished Pharmacy Alumni Awards. Don M. Newman was honored with the 2006 Career Achievement Award. The 2006 Friend of Pharmacy was Joyce Collins.

The award winners began the day with a breakfast with Pharmacy faculty, staff and students. They were able to tour campus and the Chao Center as well as their departments. Some were able to attend classes and give brief seminars. The 2006 award winners were presented their awards at a luncheon in the Purdue Memorial Union.
