Graduation Banquet - April 25, 2008

Graduation Banquet 2008 was all about good friends, great family and good food! On April 25, 2008, the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences celebrated the Class of 2008! The event was hosted by emcees Amy Thornton and Kyle Sloan. Dean Craig Svensson congratulated the class and spoke to them of the future. Dean Holly Mason recognized members of their class with leadership and clerkship awards. The class recognized members of their class with their own very special awards and a terrific slide show. It was a very special night for a very special class!

Amy A. Thornton received the ASP Senior Recognition Award.   The H. George DeKay Award was presented to Amy A. Thornton.
 
  
Daniel M. Golembeski received the Tippecanoe County Pharmaceutical Association for Excellence in Community Pharmacy Clerkship.   Justin M. Leins received the Tippecanoe County Pharmaceutical Association for Excellence in Hospital Pharmacy Clerkship.
 
  
Andrew M. Schmelz was presented the Pharmacists Letter Award.   The USPHS Excellence in Public Health Pharmacy Practice Award was presented to Jeremy L. Rife.
 
  
Dayna M. Timmer received the Glaxo Smith Kline Patient Care Award.   Dean Svensson presented M. Brandon McClain with the Facts and Comparisons Award for Excellence in Clinical Communications.
 
  
Kelly M. Gregory was awarded the Practice Excellence Award.   Zeina A. Shtaih was presented the Roche Pharmacy Communications Award.
 
  
Teva Pharmaceuticals Outstanding Student Award was given to Andrew M. Schmelz.   John B. Hertig received the Mylan Excellence in Pharmacy Award.
 
  
Julie M. Bleckman was awarded the APhA-McNeil Award for Professionalism.   Mark Triboletti was presented the Pharmacy Alumni Leadership Award by Dean Craig Svensson and Interim Assistant Dean, Steve Scott
