On November 21-22, 2008 the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences celebrated its Fall Reunion Weekend. The Pharmacy Classes of 1983, 1993, 1998 and 2003 were celebrated during the weekend.
Alumni came back to campus on Friday, November 21st for a tour of campus and the pharmacy building. Stops at Mackey Arena, Ross-Ade Stadium and Mollenkopf were highlights. Wetherill 200 brought back bad memories of Chemistry 115! Everyone enjoyed seeing the new Ford Dining Court! Pappy's Sweet Shop was the end of the tour.
The evening was spent at a reception in the Purdue Memorial Union. Everyone had a chance to catch up with their classmates and former faculty members.
Dean Craig Svensson and his wife Sue welcomed everyone Saturday morning to the Reunion Tailgate. The weather was terribly cold but the foyer of the Pharmacy Building was nice and warm. Alumni, faculty and staff enjoyed chili, hamburgers and all the fixings. Everyone departed the tailgate for the pharmacy block at the Purdue vs. IU football game. Game was great! What a way to end the weekend as well as the Tiller era!
