13th Annual BoileRx Golf Tournament - June 4, 2009

The weather was incredible for the 13th annual BoileRx Golf Classic on the 4th of June. One hundred eleven golfers, divided into twenty-nine teams, had a shotgun start on the Ackerman course at noon. There was a cash prize for anyone who could shoot a hole in one on the 17th hole this year. Unfortunately, no one was able to do that this year.

There were TWO scorecard playoffs this year, as there were ties for first and second place. Andy Smith, Todd Smith, Matt Till and John Shupe were the first-place team, with Scott Hufford, Bob Tiernan, Steve Hultgren, and Bill Malloy dropping to second place. This pushed the second-place tying teams down to third, and Mike Ankenbruck, Mike Sievers, Herb Halley and Andy Ault were the third-place winners after a second scorecard playoff.

Our individual winners included:

  • Closest to the Pin - Matt Till
  • Longest Putt Men - Travis Stoutenbrough
  • Longest Putt Women - Maureen Cormier
