Indianapolis Reception - September 11, 2009

On September 11, 2009, the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences attended the Indiana Pharmacists Alliance annual awards dinner. The evening saw three Purdue pharmacy alumni and a student recognized for their outstanding achievements.

Dean Craig Svensson presented the 2009 Glenn J. Sperandio award to George Kucka. The Glen J. Sperandio Award for Advancement of Pharmacy Practice recognizes a licensed pharmacist with a minimum of 10 years of service to the profession who is an alumna/alumnus of Purdue University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. George Kucka is a 1970 Purdue Pharmacy Alumni and the President and Chief Executive Officer of Fairmeadows Home Health Center, Inc. George was able to celebrate the evening with his wife, daughter and son-in-law.

The Indiana Pharmacists Alliance Annual Dinner was held at the Sheraton overlooking Monument Circle.		George and Mary Beth Kucka with their daughter and son-in-law, Megan and Garry Houghton.
