The 7th annual Garnet E. Peck Symposium - November 13, 2009

On November 13, 2009 the 7th Annual Garnet E. Peck Symposium in Industrial Pharmacy was held on the West Lafayette campus. This year's symposium was a special part of the 125th anniversary celebration of the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. The symposium was entitled "Emerging Trends in Health Care" and featured global leaders from the health care industry.

The moderator for the symposium was Ronald W. Dollens, former president and CEO of Guidant Corporation and Purdue Pharmacy alumnus. Panelists included:

  • Timothy Dickman, former President and CEO, Prime Therapeutics
  • Habil Khorakiwala, Chairman, Wockhardt, Ltd.
  • Gregory Wasson, President and CEO, Walgreen Company
  • John Lechleiter, President and CEO, Eli Lilly & Company
  • Richard Markham, Partner, Care Capital
