Tyler Lectures - December 3-4, 2009

On December 3 and 4, 2009 the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences along with the Department of Industrial and Physical Pharmacy welcomed Dr. Suzanne Hill to West Lafayette as the 2009 Varro E. Tyler Distinguished Lecturer. Dr. Hill is with the World Health Organization and gave two wonderful presentations to Pharmacy faculty, staff, and students. Dr. Hill's first presentation on December 3rd was entitled "Medicines, Money, and the Millennium Development Goals". Her second presentation, on December 4th, addressed "Old Drugs, New Questions: Improving Treatment for Children with TB".

Dr. Suzanne Hill received the Varro E. Tyler Distinguished Lecture Award from Dr. Liz Topp, Head, Department of Industrial and Physical Pharmacy.
