Homecoming Tailgate - October 16, 2010

The Purdue College of Pharmacy held its annual tailgate on Saturday, October 16th. The weather was perfect this year! Over 300 Pharmacy alumni, faculty, staff, and students enjoyed great food and fun in the Pharmacy tent. Several pharmacy student organizations were on hand to sell pharmacy items to alumni and students. Kappa Epsilon, PSSHP, Society of Nuclear Pharmacy, NCPA and Phi Lambda Sigma sold t-shirts, candied apples, homecoming mums, scarves, and glasses.

Several Pharmacy classes celebrated their class reunions at Homecoming this year. The Pharmacy classes of 1985, 1995, 2000 and 2005 visited the tailgate and saw former faculty as well as classmates. Retired pharmacy faculty members, Dr. Patrick Belcastro and Dr. Nick Popovich visited the tent and had a great time visiting with their former students. The day ended with a Boilermaker win over Minnesota!
