Distinguished Alumni Events - October 21-22, 2010

The College of Pharmacy welcomed the new class of Distinguished Alumni and Friends of Pharmacy with two special events. The Deans and the Hosts of the Distinguished Alumni celebrated with the award winners and their families and friends at a dinner on Thursday evening in the Anniversary Drawing Room. Each host introduced the award winners and the Dean presented each with a handmade mortar and pestle.

The faculty and staff of the College were able to congratulate the new award winners at a breakfast on Friday, October 22nd. Dr. Heidi Anderson, Dr. Eileen Dolan, Dr. Ed Langston, and Dr. Garnet Peck were congratulated for receiving the 2010 Distinguished Alumni Award. Mr. Greg Fox was selected as the 2010 Friend of Pharmacy.

The 2010 Distinguished Alumni received their awards at a luncheon on Friday, October 22nd. Senior Associate Dean Holly Mason recited the accomplishments of each award winner as Dean Svensson presented them with their award. It was an emotional program as each award recipient gave a heartfelt acceptance speech as family, friends, faculty, staff, and students looked on.
