Pharmacy Women for Purdue - October 5, 2011

The College of Pharmacy hosted a Pharmacy Women for Purdue Event on October 5, 2011 at the lovely home of Val Gaylor, BS 1979, PharmD 1985. Fourth professional year female students on rotation in the Indianapolis area were invited to an event to learn more about residencies, interviewing skills, resumes and cover letters as well as the art of negotiation from pharmacy women alumni. Dr. Yaman Kaakeh, PharmD 2005 and Ms. Jane Krause, BS 1981, MS 1994 led the evening discussions. Shirley Paddock, BS 1990, Cathy Simmons, BS 1998 and Karin Beymer BS 1988 provided advice as well as shared their experiences in each of the topic areas.
