The Pezz Dispenser - September, 2004

The Pezz Dispenser

State Fair Highlights

Purdue University hosted "Purdue Day at the Indiana State Fair, on August 18, 2004. This year the School of Pharmacy booth featured a contest for those hearty souls who braved the heat and dust of the Midway. Phishing phor Pharmacy Pfacts had people answering such in-depth questions as "Should you tell your doctor and your pharmacist about food and drug allergies?" and "Should you keep medications in their original container?" Those who answered correctly (approximately 100% of the people who were prompted with the correct answer did succeed) were rewarded with a Vial of Life kit.

Pre-Game Tailgater for Pharmacy Preceptors

Immediately prior to the Purdue vs. Ball State football game on Saturday, September 11, the School of Pharmacy Department of Experiential Programs hosted a tailgate party for the Preceptors who offer so generously of their time and talents to mentor our Pharmacy Students.
