Employee RelationsInformation for current employees in need of assistanceThis page is intended to provide information about how current employees of the School or one of its Departments can seek assistance for various problem situations. At the present time, the school hires all permanent staff via the University Human Resource Services. Some staff, particularly Faculty members, post-doctoral fellows, and student employees, are hired directly by the individual departments in the School. HarassmentIncidents of harassment or discrimination should be reported immediately to the supervisor of the harassing individual. The University Office of Human Relations provides information about the Purdue University Anti-Harassment policy and complaint procedures. Payroll and BenefitsMuch information about employee benefits is available from the University Personnel office. Any matters related to payroll or fringe benefits are best discussed with the account clerk in charge of your payroll (biweekly or monthly) in your business services office. Employment policiesThe School and its departments follow, without amendment, the University employment policies. GrievancesThere are established procedures for employee grievances and and their appeal. Information about these can be obtained from the head of your department or administrative unit, or from your payroll clerk (biweekly or monthly) or Business Manager in your business services office. |
