Chris Creamer (BS 1999)
Senior Director, Local Specialty Strategy
Chris Creamer is Senior Director of Specialty Strategy for Walgreen Co., the nationwide drugstore chain headquartered in Deerfield, Illinois. He is responsible for leading strategic operations for 250 health system and community specialty pharmacies as well as specialty strategy at over 8,000 retail pharmacies. Walgreens specialty pharmacies provide expert clinical care and supportive services for patients with complex conditions including oncology, multiple sclerosis, chronic inflammatory disease, HIV, hepatitis C, transplant, cystic fibrosis, and other rare disorders.
Chris joined Walgreens in 1999 as a pharmacy graduate intern. During his tenure, he has held various ascending leadership positions, including pharmacy manager and pharmacy supervisor in Indiana and Illinois. He was promoted to Indiana Market Pharmacy Director in 2012 and Ohio Regional Healthcare Director in 2015. He was named to his current position in 2016.
Chris currently serves on the Purdue College of Pharmacy Dean’s Advisory Council. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Purdue University.
