John Voliva (BS 1999)

Coming from a long line of pharmacists, John Voliva graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Pharmacy in 1999. After graduation, he opened the first compounding-only pharmacy in Indiana and operated the pharmacy for twelve years. In 2011, John started work at Professional Compounding Centers of America, where he held positions in both the Marketing and Training Departments before becoming part of the Public Affairs Department as Director of Legislative Relations. In April 2016, John accepted the position of Executive Vice President of the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists, leading over 3,600 pharmacists, technicians, and students to protect, promote, and advance pharmacy compounding.
John is a long-time member of APhA, NCPA, and IACP. He resides in Missouri City, Texas, with his wife, Tara (Purdue Pharmacy alumna), and their three children: Reagan, Reese, and August.
