Joanne Murphy Woods, BS 1988

Joanne Murphy-Woods is a graduate of Purdue University College of Pharmacy in 1988. Upon graduation she joined Eli Lilly and Company where she held multiple positions in pharmaceutical sales, global new product planning, brand marketing, innovative programs development, launch team leadership, managing co-marketing partnerships, and business to business brand management.  After her tenure with Eli Lilly, she pursued her ambition to help others achieve financial freedom through tax and financial planning and worked for WalMart Pharmacy.  She is the owner of Secure Future, LLC Tax and Financial Planning Services

Joanne has a passion for patient care, as well as helping others and organizations achieve goals. During her professional career, she has held many roles leading multidisciplinary teams in the planning, development, and execution of innovative initiatives. Being dedicated to addressing community health care needs, Joanne serves as the Pharmacy Director at the Rophe Free Clinic in Indianapolis. In this role, she led the start-up operations and licensing of the Rophe Free Clinic Pharmacy.  Joanne also leads the development and implementation of the clinic's medication protocols and patient centric medication management processes that improve outcomes for the uninsured and underinsured population served.

Her memberships and affiliations include the Purdue College of Pharmacy Minority Advocacy Council, Pharmacy Women for Purdue Steering Committee, Saddlebrook Homeowner Association Board of Directors, Eastern Star Church Medical Ministry, National Society of Tax Professionals, Central Indiana Real Estate Investors Association, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Current certifications are American Pharmacy Association Pharmacy Based Immunization Delivery, IRS 2023 Annual Filing Season Program and National Real Estate Investors Association Professional Housing Provider.
