The CE program will be from 6pm to 7pm in the Hix Institute

The reception will be held from 7pm to 9pm in the Oceans area

Needs - Overview of the principles of harm reduction and use of naloxone and medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorders.  A description of the BoilerWoRx initiative in the College of Pharmacy will be provided.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe the current statistics related to the opioid epidemic in Indiana.
  2. Summarize harm reduction principles related to syringe services programs.
  3. Propose a plan to increase access to naloxone in the community
  4. Identify opportunities for community involvement through the BoilerWoRx program.
