2016 Donor Recognition Brunch
The Purdue College of Pharmacy hosted its annual Donor Recognition Brunch on October 29, 2016, at the Four Points by Sheraton in West Lafayette. The brunch provides the College with the opportunity to say thank you to its donors and to allow the donors and their scholarship recipients to meet and visit with one another. Guests were welcomed by emcees Megan Bereda and Shelby Wilkinson, both third professional year PharmD students. Megan is President of Pharmacy Student Council and Shelby is President of Purdue Pharmacy Ambassadors. Julia Stone, also a third professional year PharmD student, was the student speaker. Julia is a member of Phi Lambda Sigma, serves as Community Outreach Coordinator for Purdue Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and is the Tutoring Co-Chair for Rho Chi.
Drs. Charles and Sarah Sanders served as our guest speakers. Charles (BS 1978) is currently Vice President of Medical Education and Research at Mount Carmel Health System, a four hospital system, in Columbus, Ohio. He also serves as Assistant Dean for Medical Education at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
