The Purdue College of Pharmacy is excited to announce Nancy Fey (BS, ’66) has established the Nancy Fey Endowment for the Future. The transformational endowment will be used to support the #Future4Pharmacy initiative to build new and innovative pharmacy facilities.
“Purdue College of Pharmacy really shaped me to be successful in my career,” said Nancy. They molded me by the other students and professors I interacted with. This helped me succeed in my Pharmacy career.”
Nancy’s husband was in the Navy which caused her to move around some early in her career. They ended up in Oak Harbor Washington on Whidbey Island. There she owned and operated Island Drug for 20 years. She then spent over 20 years working at Whidbey General Hospital as a Hospital Pharmacist and then the Director of Pharmacy. She retired in 2007.
Nancy decided to establish the endowment because she wants to make sure there are good facilities for the students. “Purdue puts so much effort into making sure they can keep tuition at a reasonable level. Purdue really sees the value of a good education.”
Thank you to Nancy Fey for taking a Giant Leap during this year’s Purdue Day of Giving.
