February 11, 2015 – A collaborative student research project lead to a book about Purdue graduates from the class of 1904. The collection of essays includes one about Pharmacy alum Richard Wirt Smith, an African-American who overcame discrimination and opened the Smith & Co. Pharmacy in Indianapolis after graduation.
