On September 13, 2022, Joanne was presented with the Purdue President’s Council Distinguished Pinnacle Award. The Pinnacle Award is giving to alumni whose generous gifts have made significant impact on university, student and faculty programs, organizations and initiatives. The award recognizes donors to the university who have given more than $1 million.

She has always been a longtime supporter of the College of Pharmacy making several gifts benefiting the Industrial and Physical Pharmacy program, student scholarships and the Pharmacy and Nursing Active Clinical Learning Facility.

“I am very pleased and thankful to Purdue to be honored and recognized as a Pinnacle donor.  I feel very blessed and fortunate to be able to make this gift commitment,” said Joanne. “I am so grateful to be able to support the new pharmacy building and pharmacy scholarships - both of which help to facilitate the continued success of the Purdue College of Pharmacy, its leadership, innovation and continued positive impact on patients around the world.”
