Purdue Pharmacy Alumni Start Company to Market SoyFoliate Innovation
August 3, 2017 - Recent Purdue College of Pharmacy graduates Steve Ferris, Samuel Lewis, and Alison Switzer, along with Ryan Pendergast, a graduate of mechanical engineering, are the creators of SoyFoliate soap, an environmentally friendly, naturally degradable hand soap using exfoliating soy beads instead of plastic microbeads that have been banned in the U.S. The team has started a company to further develop and bring to market their SoyFoliate innovation.
