Yellow Jugs Old Drugs Program

Zoeller speaks at Yellow Jug program

The Purdue College of Pharmacy hosted an event on September 10, 2015, where unwanted medications could be safely disposed of in a licensed facility--the Purdue Retail Pharmacy. Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller spoke at the event. The Purdue Retail Pharmacy is now able to accept all medications during normal operation, not just during a collection event. Dr. Patricia Darbishire, Clinical Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice, led the collection project, along with the help of the Purdue Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA). You can read more about the Yellow Jugs Old Drugs program here.
