Financial Support Resources

The Purdue Division of Financial Aid (DFA) administers a variety of financial aid programs. Programs at the federal, state, and university levels are available to students who demonstrate need for financial assistance.

If you are interested in receiving financial aid, you should file the "Free Application for Federal Student Aid" (FAFSA) by April 15. The FAFSA may be obtained through DFA, or you may apply using the RENEWAL FAFSA.

Purdue's Division of Financial Aid maintains a list of scholarships and grants. The Pharmacy Advancement Office maintains a list of scholarships and fellowships specific to the College of Pharmacy.

College of Pharmacy Scholarships

The College of Pharmacy awards approximately 150 scholarships each year to continuing PharmD and BSPS students. The typical award range varies from $500.00 to $2,000.00 per year. All rising 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year PharmD and rising junior and senior BSPS students follow the below steps in order to apply for a Pharmacy Scholarship.

Step 1: All U.S. Residents Complete and submit a FASFA. This includes all PharmD and BSPS applicants.

Step 2: All Pharmacy Scholarship applicants create a ScholarshipUniverse profile with Purdue University. This will also allow you to view University Scholarship opportunities.

Step 3: All Pharmacy Scholarship applicants complete and submit a Scholarship Application by 11:59 on April 30, 2024.

Scholarships are competitive and many, but not all, consider the following combination of factors: grade point average, work experience, extra-curricular and leadership activities, and service activities.
