Dr. Aziz Teaching Award

Through the generous gift made by Hamad A. Abbaspour (BS Pharmacy 1985), the Dr. Aziz Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award is presented annually to recognize the College's Outstanding Teacher of the Year.

Two other awards have been established in Dr. Aziz's memory. The first of these is the Dr. Aziz Preceptor of the Year Award. to recognize excellence among the preceptors who guide and mentor PharmD students during their experiential rotations. The other is the Dr. Aziz Experiential Learning Award, to recognize a faculty or staff member or volunteer who has contributed significantly to Experiential Learning. These may be given out in any year at the discretion of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, with recommendations from the Office of Experiential Learning. (These two awards are not necessarily given annually and have yet to be awarded.)
