Deborah obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2003 from the University of Colorado. She has been licensed as a pharmacist in Indiana, Colorado, and Missouri. Deborah began her pharmacy career at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis and played a key role with the opening of the St. Vincent Carmel Hospital Pharmacy Department. Relocating to Colorado early in her career, Deborah has held diverse roles in various hospitals and healthcare systems. Her positions included Staff Pharmacist, Clinical Pharmacist specializing in Infectious Disease and Critical Care, Pharmacy Supervisor, Pharmacy Manager, and Interim Director. Throughout her career Deborah served as a Preceptor for numerous pharmacy students. She spent a year as a Professional Sales Representative with Merck Sharp and Dahme. She also contributed her expertise as a Staff Pharmacist and Pharmacy Supervisor at a hospital in Lee's Summit, Missouri. For the past 15 years, Deborah has served as a Central Order-Entry (COE) Pharmacist. This position originated as a pilot project and endured as a significant contribution to her career. She has been a pharmacist for 42 years.
